GoTriangle route changes in November will improve options for Wake Forest, Wendell & Zebulon
GoTriangle continues toward its mission of “connecting people and the region with high quality transit” with the announcement of several route and service changes in early November that will enhance reliability and increase transit options for riders throughout the Triangle. These changes include hourly weekday service on Route ZWX connecting Wendell and Zebulon to Downtown Raleigh, as well as all-day Route WRX service from Wake Forest to Triangle Town Center and peak express trips between Wake Forest and Downtown Raleigh.
Public transit safety: It’s about education, training and partnerships
GoTriangle’s Vision statement is “To be our region’s trusted mobility partner.” In that vein, riders must trust that they will have safe and reliable transportation to get them to and from work, school or play. And bus operators must trust that they can safely do their jobs – while also being aware of the safety and security of their vehicle and riders.
GoTriangle adds 15 new buses to its fleet
Earlier this year, GoTriangle unveiled new Mission and Vision statements. The public transportation agency’s new Mission is: “Connecting people and the region with high-quality transit.” GoTriangle’s Vision is: “To be our region’s trusted mobility partner.” A key part in achieving both of those statements is by offering the region’s riders modern, safe and reliable vehicles.
