March 15, 2026 Service Changes
Starting March 15th, 2026, GoTriangle will make changes to service hours, frequency, and the alignment of some routes as well as the addition of one new route. The changes, listed below, will expand service to better connect people and the region with high-quality transit:
- Route 310: Realignment
- Route 100: Service hour and frequency improvements (15-minute service)
- Route 700: Realignment and service hour improvements
- Route 705: New route
- Schedule changes to all routes to improve on-time performance
Schedule Changes:
All routes will receive schedule changes to improve on-time performance.
Route 100
Route 100, which runs between Downtown Raleigh, North Carolina State University and the Regional Transit Center, will increase its frequency and service hours. Weekday service will now operate every 15 minutes from 6am - 7pm, consistent with GoTriangle's mission and vision to expand frequent service throughout the region. There are no changes to the route’s alignment or stops. Connections to Hub RTP and Boxyard will be available every 15 minutes on Routes 705 and 800.

Routes 300 and 800
Both routes will receive an increase in service hours including an additional evening hour on weekdays and an additional morning and evening hour on weekends.
Route 310
Route 310 will be realigned to serve the high-demand shopping center that includes the Walmart off of Shiloh Glenn Dr. in Morrisville. Two stop pairs in Perimeter Park will be removed but can still be accessed using the Morrisville Smart Shuttle. Route 100 and RDU shuttle will continue to serve the stop pair at Slater Rd. and Carrington Mill Blvd.

Route 700
Route 700 will increase its service hours and will be realigned to provide regional transit access to North Carolina Central University (NCCU), Durham Technical Community College (Durham Tech), and communities along Ellis Rd. and Miami Blvd. Two stop pairs along Cornwallis Rd. will be removed in order to bring new service to Ellis Rd. and Miami Blvd. but can be accessed using RTP Connect.

NEW Route 705
Route 705 is a new route that will provide direct access between Durham and Research Triangle Park, including Hub RTP and Boxyard RTP, with stops along T.W. Alexander Dr. and NC 54. This route will provide a faster option to support transfers at Durham Station and the Regional Transit Center (RTC). This route will operate every 30 minutes on weekdays from 6am-7pm.
