Research Triangle Park, NC (October 8, 2016) – Because of the deteriorating weather conditions in the Triangle from the impacts of Hurricane Matthew, GoTriangle and GoRaleigh will suspend all transit service as of 8:00 pm on Saturday October 8th. GoRaleigh will run its last buses for the night from GoRaleigh Station at Moore Square at 8:00 pm.

The heavy rain, wind, power and signal outages, and sporadic downed trees are making it increasingly difficult to safely operate buses on area roadways.

Service will resume on Sunday, October 9th, once the heavy rain and wind subside and conditions are safe. Customers are encouraged to check updated schedule information before going to bus stops on Sunday.

Transit riders can get the latest information by following us on Twitter (@GoTriangle, @GoRaleighNC), calling Customer Service at 919-485-RIDE (7433), or checking online at GoTriangle.org and raleighnc.gov/transit.
