Research Triangle Park, NC (March 11, 2019) – The GoTriangle Board of Trustees is postponing its work session scheduled for Tuesday, March 12, to allow more time for due diligence as staff continues to advance the light-rail project while seeking and evaluating new information. The board and staff are awaiting additional information from the state-owned North Carolina Railroad, information from the Federal Transit Administration about the environmental process and information about the total updated financial impact to the project following the recent draft risk assessment report.
The next regular monthly GoTriangle Board of Trustees meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27, and board members hope to be able to receive and discuss additional information at that meeting.
